I am a Liverpool-based contemporary painter working primarily in oil. I'm drawn to overlooked moments and places of everyday life: people waiting, travelling, gathering and passing through the spaces around us. My paintings combine observation with a graphic sensibility, exploring light, colour, atmosphere and the quiet stories contained within ordinary scenes.
